my story

Phoebe graduated magna cum laude from Hobart and William Smith Colleges with an architectural studies major and a literary studies minor.
While at William Smith, Phoebe devoted her time to studying a wide range of topics in the design field. Along with architectural studies, Phoebe is versed in studio art, graphic design, art history, urban and social sciences, as well as literary studies. The interdisciplinary education Phoebe received has enabled her to consider ideas from multiple perspectives and disciplines.
In the summer of 2012, Phoebe interned at the Maho Bay Eco-Resort on St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands. As a sustainable design intern, Phoebe worked with peers to propose more sustainable, cost efficient eco-tents. This internship not only gave Phoebe manual experience in construction, it gave her experience in designing for a sustainable future.
Since graduating in 2013, Phoebe has worked in several different fields of the design industry. Right out of school, Phoebe worked as an Interior Design Consultant at an interior design studio and showroom in Baltimore, MD. After moving to Ohio, Phoebe worked for two years as an architectural designer, designing and drafting plans for new custom built homes. In 2017 Phoebe moved to Nashville, TN and hopes to continue to gain experience in the design industry, combining her interests in aesthetics, architecture, as well as sustainable design.
